Evening..

Whilst clearing out my mums house I've found a couple of my old air rifles. One's a BSA Supersport .22, the others a Gamo CF-16 .177.

I've got neighbours on all sides so using them at home is pretty much out of the question and I don't really have the time to make use of them elsewhere.

I don't have any pellets for either so can't really say if they still shoot as well as they used to, but I'd rather they went to someone that can actually enjoy them rather than shoving them in the loft to be forgotten about.

If anyone wants to come and get either one (or both) then PM me/reply to this. My o/h isn't happy about having them in the house so ideally they need to be gone by the end of the weekend frown

I'm in Earley btw.

let us know, bit of 4x4 and some lamping would be fun. I have .22 air rifles and aqualung666 on here has my scope and a tasty .22 semi auto rimfire.

I miss my old BSA Goldstar 10-shot repeating rifle (complete with 14lb/ft spring and decent scope).

I used too shoot at Basingstoke ARC when it was in the walled garden in the at Down grange iirc just off the ring road

I have been since it moved though, it is a few miles out of town now in a woodland area that is also used by the airsoft lot

I still have Airguns...BSA Scopion .177, BSA Lightning .22, AirArms TX200 .22

Been a few years since I've had a go with anything decent. Was the days when I spent hours tuning HW80s for a living, either to 11.95lb/ft or the FAC spec 19lb/ft (I had a RFD licence at the time).

Guess most of the top stuff now is pre-charged?

Nice, fancy tuning my old HW35, the ox spring was too long and causing rebound. Pre-charge is what everyone goes on about, even electronic triggers now! Springers still have a good following and the TX guns are very nice.

I didn't realise that BOTH venues were in use, I'd assumed they stopped at the walled garden and moved to the woodland area

I only went to the out of town site once

Would have done but don't have my workshop anymore and got rid of all my tools frown

Might try and pick up an old 80 again for a bit of ratting.

I love my TX200 cloud9 but too heavy to carry about in the woods all day, the BSA lightning is better suited but both lovely guns
