Air rifles anyone?
Discussion
Evening..
Whilst clearing out my mums house I've found a couple of my old air rifles. One's a BSA Supersport .22, the others a Gamo CF-16 .177.
I've got neighbours on all sides so using them at home is pretty much out of the question and I don't really have the time to make use of them elsewhere.
I don't have any pellets for either so can't really say if they still shoot as well as they used to, but I'd rather they went to someone that can actually enjoy them rather than shoving them in the loft to be forgotten about.
If anyone wants to come and get either one (or both) then PM me/reply to this. My o/h isn't happy about having them in the house so ideally they need to be gone by the end of the weekend
I'm in Earley btw.

basingstoke air rifle club is a good place to shoot, i have been to there a few time to zero mine in, but as i own a pest control company i usually get to do it for free if i ever need a couple extra guns for some rabbits or rats i will give you a shout!
let us know, bit of 4x4 and some lamping would be fun. I have .22 air rifles and aqualung666 on here has my scope and a tasty .22 semi auto rimfire.tuscan_al said:

Been a few years since I've had a go with anything decent. Was the days when I spent hours tuning HW80s for a living, either to 11.95lb/ft or the FAC spec 19lb/ft (I had a RFD licence at the time).
Guess most of the top stuff now is pre-charged?
Nice, fancy tuning my old HW35, the ox spring was too long and causing rebound. Pre-charge is what everyone goes on about, even electronic triggers now! Springers still have a good following and the TX guns are very nice. Guess most of the top stuff now is pre-charged?

i believe they still use the wall garden and the wood land area, unless things have changed as i was at the walled garden a few months ago???
I didn't realise that BOTH venues were in use, I'd assumed they stopped at the walled garden and moved to the woodland areaI only went to the out of town site once

Would have done but don't have my workshop anymore and got rid of all my tools
Might try and pick up an old 80 again for a bit of ratting.
