Has anybody tried the friday night comedy club at South Hill Park? - We thought we might give it a try as it's on the doorstep, but don't want it to be embarrassing!

Yup, I went once a couple of year ago and it was a scream. As with any comedy club it depends on the acts and the audience but I can say that the night I went the line up was good and the audience was full of hecklers which made for a good night out.......

Used to go semi-regular a few years ago - was a good night out, but somehow we seem to have forgotten about it since. Will have to organise a new outing.

Have been to the comedy cellar about a dozen times, always a very good night.

Make sure you book at least 48 hours in advance. It's often sold out... like it is tonight.

Can't beat the entertainment for a tenner. Definitely a SAS night to be had in 2010
