smile Thanks for the offer Dave but there won't be any problems. Its all pretty clear cut as I was lucky/unlucky enough to see it happen with my own eyes!!

Only thing I'm worried about is if one of the clams is cracked or the rad has been damaged. Did'nt appear so last night and will hopefully have got away with it as it was very low speed fortunately. Popped indicator bulb and scratches was the only obvious damage. Think the women just suffered some brain fade and forgot how to use the brakes.

Been and collected the car. Drives fine. Impact has cracked the rear clam in a few places, only once the full depth of the fibre glass, looks repairable though. Pushed the exhaust out of position and flattened the top of the tail pipe against the clam slightly. Drivers door is a few mm out of line and the window does'nt feel right to wind up and down. The hood appears to have popped off a metal bracket in the rear clam too on the drivers side which means there must have been some flexing going on to allow that. Pissed off irked

Cheers Nigel.

I'm planning to take it to these guys: http://www.specialisedpaintwork.com/home.htm

They are a Lotus approved bodyshop and have a very good reputation amongst owners, plus being local. I have heard very good things about Steve Williams also. I'll consider my options.

+1

Had the fibreglass on my Elise repaired by them twice. Was very impressed on both occasions, highly recommended.
