Got a new toy for the dog

It would be good to know how you feel they handle in comparison. Does the new age one have more or less understeer/does more weight mean more reluctance to turn in, how much quieter is it on the motorway? I nearly went for a D Spec 3 years ago but went for a classic in the end, interested in your citizen journo report

The wagon goes just as well as my RB5 but to be honest I don't think my RB5 is at full fitness, might just be due to the age and miles but she does not go like she used to, could do with another 40 - 50 bhp!
The wagon is SO much lighter to drive and as such you don't have as much confidence in it. The steering is so light and the ride so soft compared to my RB5. Even my wife commented on how much better my RB5 'sticks' to the road! They both understeer but the wagon will let go much earlier, with the RB5 when it does let go it seems more neutral, if you use your right foot that is
.Basically they feel very similar but yet very different. The wagon is just a softer lighter version. The light steering makes it feel very eager to turn in but then it really dips on the soft springs.
I've just done 1600 miles in a week in it on a trip to the west coast of scotland and it was fantastic. Good on the motorway, great on the A roads, only problem is the lack of noise. You should be able to hear a flat four but you cant. A few cats might soon end up at the rspca to solve that problem though.
Some pics from the trip:

And as this was a toy for the dogs, best show them with their toy.
