Witness appeal

I was involved in an accident where a driver pulled out in front while on pedal bike and sustained minor injurious. The problem is that there were at least five witnesses and the driver claimed liability of the accident also when the ambulance turned up she was admitting guilt, however nobody came forward with there details to be used as a witness. The other problem the Ambulance crew did not inform the police where they should of. Once the Police can get hold of the paramedics then they would be the only witnesses I have. Because it was not fatal the police will not put witness boards out where the accident happened.
The question is how do I go about getting witness statements, local media?

I would say your only option is local media but i wouldnt hold my breath. if you wernt hurt too badly then i would consider leaving it as it may end up been a lot of hassle. and admitting fault at the scene doesnt stand up in court for many reasons.

Why do you expect to need witnesses?

Have you tried any of the 'No Win, No Fee' lawyers out there? If they think you have a claim without witnesses, happy days, but if they feel witnesses are necessary, maybe they can invoke procedures to get the authorities to comply?

No win fee solicitors are dealing with it, i just thought witnesses would be useful

Maybe go back to the same place at the same time with your own sandwich board/sign and or try to spot the drivers if they're commuters. bit of long shot.
