Jeez, you're not kidding. If Guards Red was popular for turbos then maybe, but it ain't. AT ALL.
Guards, Riviera, etc are RS colours. Not exactly low mileage either!

89k miles and this...
"Mechanicals - no service history, its been lost... but I am trying to track down receipts etc for service work/repairs etc.

Service engine light and ASR light showing but overall the car drives very well"

It may look like a bargain, but i wonder how much you would need to plough in to that car over a couple of years of ownership

So, along this line, if anyone happens to find the below I'd be happy to buy it hehe

330ci in a colour other than silver, preferabley Black / Estoril Blue / Red / Blue.
Dark interior
Around 2001/2002
Under 70k miles on the clock
Manual or would potentially consider SMG but not sure about that.
£5-7k
Decent stereo and xenon's would be nice.

Basically I just missed out on one on Saturday that was just less than £7k and pretty much perfect but would like to see what the PH gang can come up with.

Similar cars also considered as long as they're not going to loose money or cost the earth to keep on the road for 12-18 months (and easy to sell on come resale).

Okay, point taken, in that case the only thing missing from the above is 'sport' as the seats in the SE look wky and the sport / m-sport suspension sounds worth it.

The previous owner has lost the history so waiting for servicing garage to send up print outs...it'll be the cheapest one for sale though, most seem to be around £12k minimum

£7,500'ish (only 58k miles) with a bit of haggling?

Silver? It's popular so surely easier to resell?

That bloody red one keeps popping up and was what made me post about SMG... so sounds like that ones out!

john_r said:
I'm not sure on the interior of that one, guess I need to have a closer look at one that's that colour in real life as ideally it'd be black.

Does look rather nice!

I'd just be worried about a)rust, b)fuel consumption and c)big bills?

Anyone know if they're actually not that bad?

The 330s seem to fit nicely with low maintenance costs, lower fuel costs than my old car and 'potentially' more fun.

I'm fairly certain that Keith has had a fair amount of experience with both the R32 and R33 Skylines.
