Good afternoon people.
I have been spending more and more time on Pistonheads of late and wanted to say hello properly to those of you in my area. I pass a chap in Thatcham with a Red VX220 with a big PH sticker on the bonnet on the way to work most mornings and this has prompted me to get a little more involved with those of you that are local and say hello.
I have spent many years on BMW forums and have made great friends, had some awesome holidays, some crazy nights out and even done a bit of business here and there, not to mention many memorable sessions out on the tarmac. I know this place is the same so I look forward to sharing a hoon with some of you in the near future.
My current steed is an Alpine White 135i and I have a part share in an M3 Evo track car for trips to the Ring and trackdays in the UK. I like nothing better than to wake up on a sunny Sunday morning to go out for a spoon around the quiet roads if I haven't been out the night before and I am sure there are a few more like me locally.

Hi Mike,
I am in the Thatcham area too, And I see the VX220 regularly on Floral way??
Pop on down to the Pelican tomorrow night in Froxfield, We have a monthly meet there that was originally the Lotus 7 Club but it has now progressed to a all car meet, with everything from American metal to Bristols with everything in between like Atom's Caterhams, M3 etc.
It starts from about 730pm and 'should' be a decent turn out due to the weather.
Hope to see you there (and anyone else who is reading here)

Sorry for the n00b question but will the local hoons be advertised in the Event/Meetings/Travel forum or in here?
Wouldn't want to miss them. I am getting the urge for some hooning now the spring is coming and grip is slowly being restored. Plus, its a good reason to scrub the tread of these RFT's and get some proper rubber sorted.
