Just fallen down a little sinkhole, caused by the main water pipe being a little knackered. I've turned off the mains water (half mile hike each way), and I know roughly where the break is - anyone know of anyone who can / will fix the pipe asap? Money and beer is what I'm offering this end...

(Had to happen after 3 on a Friday, didn't it?)

Cheers Rick - out by Bordon, and have an engineer arriving after 11 today. Could have been worse...

You may find your supply service pipe is corroded if it's steel and will also have poor flow due to internal corrosion.
If you have the older black imperial poly pipe that suffers from problems
and is easly damaged owing to it being brittle and weak with age.

Should you wish to upgrade your service pipe give me a shout.
Also some of the projects I have done have included cables for gate/garden lighting and automation have also been installed at the same time.

Typical - new blue pipe, and a knackered 32mm t-junction. Until Monday then!
