I have found a bottle of JD in my garage.. which i got through from Dutyfree is Russia a few years ago..

Why is the stuff from Duty free have a higher Alcohol % when compared with stuff from the offlicense?

if anyone wants the full bottle then free to collect otherwise it will be stuck in the bin

Because duty payable is calculated, amongst other things, on alcohol content

Will be driving past your tommorow as i need to go to Farnham. I dont know if the bottle has been opened but it is full. Just saw it in the garage, and it sent a shiver down my spine... cant stand the stuff now had a bad experiece with whisky and have complete memory loss for 3 days of my life! I have vowed never to drink the stuff ever again
