Morning chaps (and ladies),

Just sold two of my bikes and feel like getting something fun for the summer.
Got some space in the garage, and will be getting a tow bar soon, and have up to £3k to spend (though could stretch to £5k i guess for the right toy).

At the moment it's in the realms of:
a) quadbike - either on a trailer, or road legal, or both
b) jetski - on a trailer, in the garage
c) hovercraft - on a trailer, in the garage
d) Land rover (would have to live outside - where? I am running out of space!)

Suggestions, thoughts, ideas?

Sinc - ghey smile
Supercharger would be nice but no one has done it successfully on the N52 engine yet frown
Jetski still winning so far...

Jetski is fun but has limited use - Locations to use being one, although there is on next to the M4 in reading, Can be pricey to fix when they go wrong, And lets face it we aren't in Florida are we, You will need a decent wetsuit/Gloves/boots etc smile

You could always be the Pioneer in successful supercharger install on an N52 engine...

... Or you could get a Raptor road legal quad, They will be good for about 90mph smile My Honda 400ex does about 75 on the road and is great fun, I take her on road and off as well as the odd MX track

Well this is the thing, a few SASers have bought 4x4s recently and i do miss my old Range Rover and Suzuki, and the jetski thing as you say means hitching it up, taking it to a lake, paying someone, or trailering it all the way down to the coast, etc.
Road legal quad with a trailer means i could go greenlaning locally or trailer it to places further afield.
And i could go have fun in the snow like Chris did on his biggrin

I'd vote for the Quad, they're awesome fun and if you've sold 2 bikes then you should really get something to replace them, no? wink

Quad can be used more frequently/easily than a Jetski.

Are they road legal though?! Seeing that you're not actually touching the road, does that count?! scratchchinhehe

Somewhere there will be something that "should" give you the cross between a bike and a decent car that you're after.

Oh.... here it is hehe

How about a classic mini chopped roof project with either a V8 or a 2.0 MG Turbo conversion?
