Ok.. My careful ordering of parts has all gone pearshaped!

All of the kitchen has been delivered.. Fine... But just checked the delivery docs. all ok.. But there was no blooming worktop. Phoned to check.. Aghh yes the worktop is discontinued and we could not get hold of it. so we have refunded the money to your debit card.. etc etc bullst bullst

So i have the kitchen scheduled to be fitted on Thursday.. everywhere i am phoning is saying 4-6 weeks for a worktop.

I am looking for a simple Laminate worktop but the colour has to be Ebony or Wenge.. I can travel to collect.

Anyone help?

Or just get some MDF in the short term while you sort it out if you're really stuck. I think Wickes and / or B&Q in Farnborough have some worktops on the shelf too from memory.
