Whats the most impressive piece of driving you have seen....

from a fellow PH'er since being on PH no Pro driving stuff.. just what we've all done on the day...
I was sat with my latest cuppa watching the films on the great driving thread and realised that some of my friends in here are on a par with some of the clips!!!!!
Well done boys & girls so what have we seen that deserves a mention or a favorite memory...
Angry S3 - Chasing you in the Ice in the S3's going to Sunday Service
bacon bap emergency! Caterhams for breakfast! (as nice as the M3 is i'll miss the dog fights...
Fraser V's Deer followed by Roundabouts and Guns.... Amazing watching a loose arse end on a frosty morning..... And again in Scotland strange cars but the 320d and M3 certianly blifted their skirts I believe litterally in the 320d cresting!

In Scotland on that rollercoaster of a road in the wet, chassing the GTR, both when you where behind me then in front! earning the sideways name sake!
I thought I had it on video yet the camera HDD ran out with the shakes!

Three wheeling the Clio again and again..... I remember a Wantage run where you where glues to my bumper! one of the reasons I had a stint in a 172!
Robbie's comming of age on Scotland showing me how to drive a Swift without killing it!!!
I can think of many more but theres some good tales out there! lets note them for PH prosperity

Passenger in topsparks Griff, my first ever passenger ride in a TVR.
Car control!
Serious beans and noise, followed by doing a perfect 180 in the width of a normal country lane followed by a full sideways lap of a roundabout. Made me want a TVR and he also suggested I joined PH. One of many times in either of his Griffs that showed me what car control can be.
Doing 190mph+ in R1 Jons GT2 at VMax, stunning, awesome car.
Lexus IS-F doing 172mph then being drifted around a bend, again at VMax.
Guy and Simon's Ultima's again at VMax.
Pete going sideways at 45degrees+ in front of nutsoncars in Paris.
David on many many occasions keeping that Chim on the road when I really didn't think physics would allow.
Nigel hussling whatever he happens to be driving at seemingly endless pace even if it has a 18d badge on the back.
That JohnD bloke in his bloody Clio going much faster than I thought possible, especially for a french hatchback.
Graham in his Cerb at the Nurburgring.
Alex in his Tuscan at Spa and the IoM track day or overtaking my S3 like it was stood still on the 4494.
There are many more but those are a few that stick in my mind.

The tripod clio - only one man I know does that so comfortably, so often on loads of different runs, and so well.
Dave - The persona indicates a well mannered, calm, gentleman... who is pleasingly not quite that when 'on the charge'. Its a great sight being behind that Chim flying through corners.
Nigel - Just brilliantly nuts, but always causes a big grin.
Outside of these, I have a top few that are personally memorable from last year.

a behind to bmws in scotland discovering the corner was a 90 left 90 right lol trully epic
robbie in the swift again scotland around some loch rember thinking just us at the back then discover a s3 upahead that was a bit um impressive.
but by far being with fraser on my first outing in some tunnels i will never forget that night and will be one i tell my children and grandchildren about for years to come.

He even managed to take off on a bump (kicking the car sideways), landing at a 45 degree angle and then drifted the car over a narrow bridge (with brick walls either side) and around the corner.

RI was perfect.
The first three highlights which come to mind:
1. Fraser, in a 320d, having only just got in it, making it go as fast as anyone could over roads he didn't know (the same stretch he mentioned earlier, Knockhill to Edinburgh).
2. John D in his Clio. How he managed to keep up 99% of the time is beyond me.
3. Robbie in his aptly named Swift. As above, but with 125bhp!!
There are definitely some very good drivers in our group quite apart from the three mentioned above, but Fraser really does make the rest of us look like amateurs

My memorable drivers and their antics have mostly been mentioned above, and include most of the regular SASers, but two worthy of particular mention
Top of the list without any hesitation, is John D and his three-wheeler Clio. For two years, i thought that i had a blue Clio sticker on my rearview mirror. On many a hoon, he just sat there, right behind my 425bhp as if i wasn't trying. I'll also never forget the only ever passenger ride i have had on track, when i imposed myself on him at Brands Hatch. Even with the extra ballast, he was cocking his rear wheels round the bends.
Nigel - for just about anything he turns up in. His ability to wring out the absolute maximum from any car is unsurpassed. The first (and possibly only man) to bring a 6 litre luxury barge on a hoon. Maximum points for comedy value
Finally the magnificent 4 (you know who you are) who blasted from Gaydon motor museum back home, via a previously unknown B4494, in the pi$$ing rain. Sheer lunacy, but adrenaline-fuelled fun... i imagine

You have just reminded me of another occasion, my very first hoon. David, Marcellus, Humpy and I probably still covering ground faster than ever on the way back from the first FB5K dash to the coast, followed by a few beers in the prince. The constant pace was pretty silly, along with how close Marcellus was to your bumper for most of the trip.It was also what PH is all about for me, 4 totally different cars, a few people that didn't really know each other and a LOT of fun driving fast.

Very flattered to see myself mentioned by you guys. All I can say is that the Clio was a very easy car to drive fast Certainly have many fond memories of chasing all of you through the countryside in it. Perhaps I should'nt have got rid?
Some instances that stick in my mind are:
Shoebag driving her Diablo on very wet/slippery roads whilst wearing heels(!) on a Dunstable hoon a while back.
Alex flying around Odiham airfield in hot pursuit of a Viper race car, catching a sideways moment nudging 3-figures while he was at it!
The pace of Robbie in the Swift. A number of times I absolutely rung the neck on the Clio to try and put some distance to zero effect. Most memorably one non-stop 4th/5th gear 15min long blast in Scotland with Nathan in tow, where the weather went sunny/rain/sunny/rain/sunny/rain seemingly changing every minute. Epic hooning!
Night time run with JR in the M5. M-mode engaged. That thing could really dance through the corners for such a large car.
ETA - Don't know a how I forgot this one. A certain Mr Dan Webster giving me a demonstration of controlled power oversteer on several roundabouts plus the high speed handling prowess of the Elise through the bends. Certainly impressed me enough to buy it!
