Some utter f**king w**king c**t smashed the rear screen of my beloved mondeo this morning, its old but good hack, no screen insurance. Auto glass are mega bucks, are there any others, or a scrappy to get a new tail gate door would be cheaper...

Any ideas????

Scrappy probably easiest and cheapest for a complete hatch. Bit of a hassle feeding wires through - you could cut and join them.

Depends if you are fussed about matching paint! Also how much of a hack it is!

Glass sometimes isn't too expensive from dealers.

Second hand tail gate tailgate £55, got it and they know a guy who will remove the glass and fit on mine for £50...not worth me even fitting the tail gate for that....it would take me a year.
