Parking Restrictions in Bagshot

I need some advice for parking in bagshot. Most of the roads in the vilage centre have doule yellow, and the on street parking in max stay 30 minutes..

Is the carpark behind summerfield a free public car park or control by the shop??

The car park is/was pay and display and owned by the council. I had fun there a couple of years ago upsetting a clamping company

So is it safe to Park there?? it will be wife and kiddies dont really want my wife going through all of that......

That kinda related to the Pub car park bit and the illegal clamping of vehicles, the council did really well to stand up for the drivers. I don't know of any issues with parking in the main car perk there.

as long as it's a 4x4 and huge, just bung it in one of the disabled spots outside Somerfield

Plenty on street parking, just check signage but not all roads
are restricted.

Dont park in pub car park.
I would get fed up if my customers could not get in cos some dozy doris
has gone for a perm instead of spending over the bar.

Is this parking for everyday, or is this just for the odd day now and then?

There are a couple of places within seconds of the village centre to park if you know the area.

I am also willing to rent out my driveway should anybody need a permanent spot.

Sorry I've arrived at this thread a bit late!

There is still some free parking - it's outside the carpet shop and the dentists. I have used it and once left my Impreza there without moving it for 2 months, I know the (lack of) restrictions haven't changed. It gets full by about 8.30am with local workers parking there. The other free all day place is just around the corner past the tyre place, the street that goes up the hill next to the indian takeaway, quiet residential road that always has lots of parking.

Outside my place during the day is a nightmare, businesses fighting for space and we fit 2 cars in a space allocated for 1. Evenings are a different matter though..

Further afield you can park right outside the station.

If you have a powerful car and I'm working from home I do offer a valet parking service, I collect the car from you at a place to suit you in Bagshot, return it later that day minus a bit of tyre tread but having been 'in safe hands' the whole time.

Cheers for the Info, Its only a Volvo so there is not enough power to pull the skin off a rice pudding yet alone do anything else!

There is actually lots of parking near the centre if you know where to look, that side street is a sure bet each day and every day and it's right near the centre.
