It was for the staff, friends and family only,I was invited to take my father in laws Ford C750 truck which has a 390CI bigblock v8 petrol engine which went down well, even though he runs it on "recycled petrol"pumped out when people fill up with the wrong fuel. Its a low comp engine but farts and bangs a lot with all the diesel in it untill it warms up!

You might want to do a bit of resizing - the pics are taking for ever to download!

I'm guessing Ron wouldn't approve of the Ferrari's if they're owned by Mclaren staff hehe

I particularly like the picture of the NO PHOTOGRAPHY sign smile

But that Viper that does 0-170mph in 7.5 seconds.... Sweet Jesus.

My mate used to take his Yellow Fezza (a Ph'er) to work and park it in plan view from the front gate, to wind Ron up smile
The day it was called out over the tannoy for him to move it (old factory, parking was a mess!), you could here a cheer and laughing around the factory. Ron's blood pressure probably jumped up at that moment hehe

They are owned by Mclaren, they take them apart to see what makes them tick and also give them a good thrashing around Dunsfold!

I was there on Sat as well. Really good day and as my first time at Mclaren's HQ I was simply astounded at the site, building and level of detail/cleanliness of the whole complex . Very swish indeed cool

No, and yes.

To the general public, no.

But tours are run by the marketing department for groups like sponsors and VIP's. And they run tours for Team McLaren members.

The other way is to know someone who works there, who can invite you in for a "business meeting".

I had one, and it was just me and the tour guide, Henry; It was very enlightening, very fascinating and very wallet-emptying as I had been invited to pick up the ultra-rare ultra-expensive Le Mans edition of Driving Ambition I had bought and a tour came as part of the price [I could have opted to have had the book couriered to me, but living just down the road and liking the F1 Mclarens it was a no-brainer].
