Best place in Reading/Berks to get wheels powdercoated

A friend of mine was wondering where anywhere decent was. And I know you guys are always full of good recommendations so throw them this way

I used The Autowerks in Slough. Harry, the owner, seems to know his stuff and did a lovely job on the Tuscan's wheels. Bead blasted, powder coated dark grey, then top-coated in metallic anthracite and lots of lacquer.

BJV did a nice job on my old Clio. Was not powdercoat though.

Are you sure? BJV reckon 95% of their work is powdercoat, and every wheel i've ever sent has come back powdercoated...

They've normally picked up on say a tuesday and returned by the end of the week for collecting from home for me.

Quite quick from what I recall. Around a week perhaps. I drove over and left the car there (with Colin to take me home). Can be more tricky to get a slot in their diary. Double check they have actually booked you in it too!

BJV are no longer doing private collections only trade work as their flow of trade work has increased so much i've sent so many sets to them always come back excellent and well finished.

It never ceases to amaze me that even though i only live down the road from the these places i never hear about them i normally use A&C blasting in Newbury

Neil,looks great BUT you need to fit some smaller rear tyres then your be able to lay rubber like you can in a TVR instead of accelerating at Mach 2!
