Blatant plug for sponsorship :-)

I tried the subtle approach earlier this week and attracted a few sponsors from P/H (thank you VERY much to those who dug deep), but thought I would try a more direct approach!
My 11 y/o son and I will be doing a 13 mile charity bike ride this weekend (Sunday 6th June), but left it very late to register for the event. Consequently, most of the people I would tap up for sponsorship are away with their families on half term leave, so I thought that I would try a blatant plug on P/H!
We will be taking part in the 3 counties bike ride setting off from Bracknell at 09.00 on Sunday morning. There are 3 routes, 13 miles, 33 miles and 50 miles – given that my 11 y/o would probably struggle with the 33 miler we have decided to opt for the 13 mile route but will try to do it at a decent speed (unless he hits ‘the wall’ and whines too much in which case I may just push him into a hedge and do the 50 miler)!
I accept that it is cheeky to ask people I have not met for money but it is for ‘charidy mate’! If you have a few spare sheckles burning a hole in your pocket log onto www.justgiving.com/lee-and-josh and get rid of them.
If anyone is in the area on Sunday look out for us, I will be identifiable by my skid lid (and whining 11 y/o).......
