Welcome to Guildford! If you like Thai try the Thai Terrace or Rumwong, both owned by the same people but good views from the Terrace. For a proper pub I'd recommend the White House, Keep or the Drummond. Hollyhocks in Bramley is good for lunch or dinner if you want to get out of Guildford but not travel too far.
