Odd Request - Building Supplies

Right then..

I am having some difficulty getting hold of some bricks.. Is there anyone that works in a builders yard that could help..

I have an external door that needs to be bricked up.. Easy... Just needs some bricks and time to do it. I now have the time, but i can not get hold of the bricks in a small enough quanity. I can find suppliers but they want a minimum order of 4800 bricks. I only need 70 or so (Plus breakages)
So if anyone can source me around 100x Blockleys Wrenkin Wirecut Deep Red Mix Facing bricks. either delivered or collected will get a few beer tokens.

I dont mind ordering a pallet (256?) as i have a few other uses for them.. Brick BBQ etc..

Most builders merchants will sell you a small quantity.
Search on google for your local ones such as Builders Centre and Travis Perkins

Have gone to all in the local area..

Travis - Do not stock them
Hewden - Do not stock them
Jewson - Do not stock them

Why do these developers go for a completely off the wall supplier that you cant get easy!!

Try D W Nye at Horsham, they have helped me in the past source some outragous Bricks.

Also try Topsparks on here he runs T Valley Builders Merchants and is a ruddy nice chap!

Thanks Dave!,I can sort this,just spoken to brick company,I can use palletways for delivery as they want £120+ vat to ship one pallet of bricks,they do a deep red or light red,pallet is 400 bricks,give me a call 01753 652929,James.

Slight thread hijack but what the hell, keep meaning to phone you myself James but this is much easier

Do you deal in timber gate posts at all, need some chunky ones for pair of 6' gates to hang off - thinking about 8" square and I guess 10' (4' into ground do you think for 6' solid gates?). If not something you deal in do you have any recommendations.

Hmmn, deffo worth a chat then - whole automated caboodle was on the original "want" list, sidelined due cost but maybe worth further investigation
