Maidenhead to Kew

I need to get to a meeting near Kew Bridge by 10AM on Thursday. I'd normally reckon about 1/2 hour from joining the M4 at Maidenhead but this is a bit too close to the rush hour. What would be a good time to hit the M4?

If it's important that you are there on time, I'd add an hour to that 30 mins for good measure - you might easily beat it but I'd personally rather be early and worst case have time for a coffee. If it's only mildly annoying if you are a late then an hour might do it. Can't see it being any less than that on a weekday morning though.

I'd say 0845 get on M4 at the latest, as TC says its better to be 15 minutes early. You going M4 all the way to Chiswick?

M4 to Brentford, then onto the A4, all the way round the roundabout, then double back a short distance. The address is technically Brentford.

That'll be a bh of a journey.

It may even suit you to leave the M4 a junction early and head along the A4 and then head down the London road and over Kew bridge but whichever way you go there'll be quite alot of traffic.

I used to commute from Reading to Chiswick... (M4 jc2).

In the holidays, you'll be laughing. Out of holidays - 90 mins would be good (for 35 miles of motorway!)

Thanks everyone, I got on the M4 at about 8.10 and reached Chiswick roundabout at 9.15.
The congestion only started after Heston services.
