im off hovercraft racing, has any oe done this before and have any tips?? I kind of know the old rule of thumb that if you are heading towards an object, your going to hit it no matter how hard you try! :-)

Think ahead,

think that you are drifting, turn in early

Keep the power on

move your body like you would on a quad

hold on


dont tickle it be ballsy

This seemed to work for me

sounds good from what your saying! Shame the 200sx isnt up and running, id pop out for some practise in :-D

This at Wildcats? Went there a couple of weeks ago and it was a right hoot! Was thinking of organising a SAS trip down there actually.

To add to the above, the steering doesn't really affect the direction, only the attitude of the hover craft. Leaning and throttle are your friend.

It was indeed at wildcats, i found that body weight was the key to cornering. I nearly had a run in with the m4 but managed to stop intime before going through the hedge row :-D

Was very good fun, came 3rd overall out of 10, which isnt too bad for a first attempt.

Come and see the World Champs, the F1 guys are a true spectacle to watch. Raced an F1 last year and my god it's fantastic!!
