HEADS UP -RE Burglaries Farnham area

There has been a spate of day time burglaries in the West Surrey area.(Farnham,Haslemere,Chiddingfold etc)

Polce have released the following stolen car details that may be linked to the crimes,as it has been seen in the area of the crimes.

R477 BJN,a blue Vauxhall Vectra.They ask if the car is seen to note the occupants

descriptions,and contact police ASAP.(0845 125 2222)

I love how they want your help and then go on to give you a number that costs a ridiculous amount to call, especially if, like me you only have a mobile.

Can I suggest if you do see this vehicle use 999 instead!

Cas, I located an old fashioned number for my local force which I've saved into my mobile to prevent having to use the 0845 numbers, not sure if this one works for Surrey, but try 01483 571212

The 01483 571212 number used to be the HQ telephone number at Mount Browne,I seem to remember.

Don't know if it still is.

Aren't they charged at local rate anyway, rather than an extortionate amount?
And yes if you see it, call 999, especially tomorrow after 10pm

Yeah only local rate, but still charged for on mobile tariffs, whereas the 'old' number would be in your inclusive minutes.
