Has anyone seen a mobile speed camera van on this stretch in the last few months ? The two known sites on the road have been removed from the (usually excellent) PocketGPSWorld camera database because no-one's reported seeing a van... but I find it hard to believe they're no longer enforcing that stretch due to the enormous kerr-ching factor it offers.

If someone has seen a van there in the last year, let me know and I can get it re-added to the database.

I must say, I've never seen one there. And I'm very glad!

I think people need to remember to 'spot' them on the website - after all the database is only as good as the information provided smile

I occasionally see a hand held camera near me and I always update pgpsw but no one ever seems to confirm it !
as stated its only as good as the submissions people give

Yes there was a Scamera Van there last week. It was quite sneaky actually, pointing in the direction to catch traffic from Basingstoke, it was positioned at the end of the straight at Herriard, just past the t-junction to Southrope and the Fur and Feathers Pub, and tucked out the way just round the bend.

That road is my commute to work and I was lucky I was stuck behind a truck and others managed to warn me!
