After being part of this forum for a while now I have noticed there doesnt seem to be a pub meet for the bucks area.

I am just wondering if there is anyone in the area who would be intrested in a monthly meet. If anyone is intrested I will post up a date, time and venue.

If I am wrong could someone please let me know if there is one.

Cheers

Adam

Aside from the impressive spelling errors in the title, you might get better response posting this in the Bucks part of the forum.

Saying that, this will probably be moved anyway, but I'd recommend posting there for Bucks related meets as you'll probably get more relevant interest.

There seems to be quite a few meets and runs organised in the Bucks forums... so I'd guess the interest would be fairly good?

Considering the Thames Valley area does cover the southern side of Bucks.
Marlow for instance, is in South Bucks, the Thames flows just a few minutes walk from the town. Once you're over Marlow bridge you're in Berkshire, which is considered Thames valley territory.

Another instance, I live in Thame, Oxfordshire. We're actually closer to the border of Bucks, just less then a mile along the A418 towards Aylesbury to be exact. The river Thames from here is about 15 miles or so, but I spend more time reading TV&S forum then the Bucks & Cambs as there're more going on as it were.

Before hand when I was living in High Wycombe... it was the Bucks forum. smile

Mind you if you think about it.... Thames Valley Constabulary covers as far as Milton Keynes right? tongue out

There is a member on here , landlord. Take a look at his profile, his pub looks good .
I have been meaning to pop over with my wife, if there is a ph meet there it would be even better.

As jas said, Landlord on here has a very nice pub doing good food and a large car park so would be very suitable for a meet.

I'm sure a bbq could be arranged to if enough interest, buts it obviuosly too late this year.

K,its a tough call really.

As previously said, tvs and bucks herts do have a fair degree of overlap.

The biggest difference is that the sas posse are probably the most acxtive group on the site.

I read both fora as I'm in the midde of both areas.

I think the problem here is a simple one its the difference in Deffinition between an SAS Pub meet and a Bucks Pub meet... hehe
