You might need a set of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vauxhall-Astra-H-Stereo-Doub... (or 2 long thin watch makers screw drivers or nails also work)

If not, then invest in a multimeter and soldering iron kit and have a go! It is quite rewarding fitting a stereo / speakers.

Thanks Jon for the info.

At my age I have been there and done that(although not very well! a good few years ago I nearly set a cable on fire behind the dash on my MK 11 Cortina!!!)So I will have to pay someone to do it.

I watched the guy do the job,it didn't appear to be particularly easy(for someone who is *rap with electrics like me!)as he had to do some re wiring and had to make safe a power supply that had been left live,that had been used for an amplifier based system that was previously fitted,it seems.
