Underwater metal detector

I know it's a long shot but anyone got one? Know someone who has got one etc etc

I stupidly whilst feeding ducks with the family managed to throw the bread and my silver ring came flying off my Cold hands and landed about 15ft out!!

The ponds isn't deep only about 1 1/2 - 2ft just wondering if anyone had an underwater metal detector I could borrow/hire as the water to mucky to see the bottom! The ring has more sentimental value than monetrie!

Get an standard metal detector, 1st wrap the bit that will get submerged
in cling film, and then wrap with sealed type bags to make sure.

It worked when we lost van keys in a treatment filter

Rick might give that a go but wondering if a standard detector would work underwater with a small thing like a ring?? As there a lot of metal in a set of keys!!

Al I'll have a look at finding him!!

Well I have found out that where the pond is a maritime museum that is run by a real life treasure hunter!! He's in Portugal until Saturday so have to call him then, if he cant help then a trip back to the isle of Wight with a metal detector to hunt for it!!!
