What happened on the M3 this morning?
Discussion
He's not too bad to work with either!!!
Having been rescuing stuck motorists all night and then onto the M3 it was a long night/morning. I can only echo Furry's comments with regard to sorry to anyone held up, we did what had to be done as quickly as possible, the northbound was only held up by onlookers which is human nature.
Another bad night ahead stay safe people.

Any of you wonderful surry police types working on the M3 lorry jack-knife last night?
We only had to wait 40mins for the road to be cleared of what was quite a large RTA. Twas quite and impressive job that was done

This was like 1am. It would of been dealt with quicker if there was not an army of t
ts who 'knew better' and shot down the hard shoulder to the front of the queue only to block the path of the highways agency, A medic, the police and a gritter/snow plough, Joy

We were dealing with one on the A31 at the Shepherd and Flock roundabout, when some bloke tips up on a motorbike! We only had to wait 40mins for the road to be cleared of what was quite a large RTA. Twas quite and impressive job that was done
Was a hectic night, picked up a pedestrian on the A3 and managed to get him to Hindhead, fell down an embankment trying to get to a crashed Jag and helped tow out a BMW.....his snow mode wasn't working

The Volvo never put a foot wrong all night!

You also seem to be a decent bloke as well
Well done on clearing Shepherd and Flock, saw on bbc travel about a jacknifed lorry there and thought my journey down the A331 then A31 would be a nightmare, but it was fine.
Can only assume that the lamp post leaning at a funny angle on the Shepherd and Flock was the aftermath of the lorry, no sign of anything when I got there just after 8 this morning.
Keep safe out there and try not to trip over too many kerbs tonight
