The Tuscan will be sold frown
Having two sports cars sitting in the garage just isn't right, and i need to rationalise my "assests" and create some space to garage the Beamer. I have been excused driving for nearly 5 weeks now due to a bit of work on my knee, and have been pondering which car i really want to jump in to drive first. When i say drive, i mean "drive" biggrin

The Tuscan is a stunning looking car, and turns heads wherever i go. The noise is just awesome, and yet we recently managed a 500 mile round trip to York and back with the roof off. With a rebuilt engine and gearbox it is now sorted for a few years... but i guess i must be getting old(er). The ASBO that comes with the car needs to be enjoyed by someone with less tinnitus, and who has more time to exploit its outrageous potential. Despite this, it is the Chim i am looking forward to jumping into most. I might just have one last Tuscan Tunnel Run before she goes though wink

I will get a couple of the interior cosmetic bits fettled over the next coupe of months, and sold in time for the spring sunshine (and price hike hopefully).

That's a shame David. That particular car is the only TVR that's ever made think "hold on a sec, I fancy a bit of that!"

O yes.... I nearly forgot to
mention that I've been deafened by this car whilst Following it riding shotgun in the PHN Atom with nancy headache

I've laughed at it's sideways antics on various occasions aswell as scaring the crap out people as it pops and bangs in 'populated' areas hehe

I've haven't even had a chance to be a passenger in Tuscan yet. Sad to see it go, but if needs must.

Sad times, but I'm sure it'll find a good home..... (checks driveway for space incase it magically grew in the last 2 minutes... )

I have memories of sitting behind Dave whilst he was being warned by Bib about the excessive noise on a tunnel run that make me chuckle..

Morning all smile I didn't expect this reaction, which goes to show what a fantastic car it has been. It will still be mine for a couple of months whilst I get it tidied up a wee bit. Mechanically it has had everything done, including engine and gearbox, so it will be a little gem for a new owner. I'd better get this knee sorted so that I can enjoy some Speed 6 fun whilst it lasts' and I do still have the supercharged V8 beauty in the garage... For now biggrin

hmm don't tempt me, only thing I can see me going back to and being happy is a TVR,

Wanna swap for a 4wd family run around David wink Sure it will be missed but the itch was scratched and you enjoyed it. Really can see you in a Morgan or something...

It's sad to hear that you'll be selling the Tuscan, it'll certainly be missed.

I know you've enjoyed the time you've had with the car immensely but it's also worth mentioning how many happy memories it's given others. For those of you who don't know, my best friend asked me to be the best man for his wedding and David kindly lent me the use of his Tuscan. It was the icing on the cake! The Groom was completely over the moon and the best man also had the time of his life popping and banging along in the ASBO machine. biggrin

A little off topic but thanks for your generosity Mr H, I certainly won't forget it.
