The mrs wants to go shopping to Reading tomorrow. She's been told about a "hypermarket" in Reading, but google is not helping, anyone know the shop she is looking for?

You can go and sign up and become a member there and then - but you'd need all the required info/proof required. And they do check it

Also applicable to selected public sector employees (BiB, nurses, etc). And in some select cases employees of large local corporates. Any help there?

Or last resort is that an existing member can bring in 2 visitors with them. Although the member has to pay. They also don't accept credit cards (just an FYI).

It's possible/probable that there's a local PHer going to CostCo Reading tomorrow - so they might be able to bring you in.

And there's no football or rugby on tomorrow either

I've taken my parents in to Costco and there was no mention of paying for guests and we both got shopping with no questions asked? (had to use my Costco member card at the till obviously...)

Sorry - what I meant was that if your 'guest' buys anything, then it's got to be against your card when you come to pay. And I'm pretty sure it's 2 guests you can bring with you.
