I bought a Sony Handycam from them a few years ago.No problems.Cheapest on the net at that time as well.

The price was cheap, that's what put me off lol. I am looking at getting a pressure washer off there.

I was trying to see where they are based but no success.

I got a camera from them and no issues except they are european items (my camera was) so you have stty adapters for the chargers etc and their customer service cant seem to understand that due to the adapter it doesn't actually fit in a socket properly but in terms of price and choice they are good.

The bit about the plug not fitting properley is a concern as I am looking into a pressure washer, dont want it to keep going off because the plug keeps coming out.

Are you refering to the plug going into the uk wall, or the product eu plug going into the adapter?

with some of the camera charges its not easy to change the plug, but with a pressure washer just cut the Euro plug of and fit a UK stanard plug

charger to adapter isn't as secure as it would be with a UK plug

Oh I didnt realise you would be able to do that, it just wont have a earth in the plug?

I don't know if it's of any importance, but pixmania is part of the Dixons Retail Group, so the same as currys/pcworld.

Thanks for your help so far gents. I will register on the site, and get round to ordering the pressure washer and get a circuit breaker to go into the wall when I cut the eu plug off.

You may not have to, it may be a UK item.

Certainly when I spoke to them, ALL their items were not UK specific.

I believe they are owned by DSG International (Dixons/ Currys/ PC World), and it is used as their cut price web store/ price fighter against the big boys like Amazon.

I brought a camera from them a few years ago, I didn't have a universal adapter, didn't even need one.
Apparently they have a warehouse in the West London area.

Bought a Wii Fit Plus from them for my O/H for Christmas 2009 and that worked straight out of the box no problems.

I ordered a headunit from them, which was in stock at the time.
Took 3 weeks to arrive and their call center is worse than useless.
