So, I walk out to my car today and some jealous tt has decided to key the entire length of my passenger door. Absolutely fuming at the moment.

I wanted to find out if there any good local repairers or body shops that are recommended that aren't going to charge a fortune. Just when I thought I had everything sorted, some takes it upon themselves to screw up my weekend. If anyone can help or recommend someone to do the work I would be very grateful. I can't believe people these days. I'm sick to death of things like this and having been sympathetic to people in the same situation, it has now happened to me.

Right now, I'm ready to find the person that did it but I know that that's never going to happen.

how deep is the scratch? if its shallow enough a detailer could probably removed it, if its through to the metal then a bodyshop will be needed. waxwork jock is a name I remember been recommended on here a few times.

In some places, its shallow enough for a detailer to fix. But the vast majority of the door will probably require a bodyshop. Thanks for that, ill see if I can get in touch. Anyone else will be very helpful.

Just can't believe this. Another few hundred quid spent on something I don't need to and that I shouldn't need to spend on.

People these days are pathetic.

Not sure what area you're looking for but Littleknocks turn out some quality work at very reasonable prices. Their details are in the SAS Directory on this forum.
p.s. Sorry to hear what happened to your car and hope you get it sorted soon.

Thanks. Anywhere in the Surrey area is good. I'm between Guildford and Bracknell at the moment during the week so wherever in that area or slightly further out will be good.

Ill check them out and see what I can find out. I posted in here because of the area and wanted to find somewhere local if possible.

Just used Littleknocks in Wokingham for a few things, excellent job done and reasonable too.

I'd second the recommendation for LittleKnocks, they carried out a fantastic job on my Coupe and they matched the "jewish racing gold wink" perfectly.....and all at a reasonable price with a pretty quick turn around. thumbup

Thanks for the comments so far. Just moving to Bracknell so not far from me. Ill give them a call and see what they can do. Can get the small car park knocks sorted at the same time.

Nice to see the SAS coming through again. So glad PH is here at times like these.

I meant to pay them a visit this morning but got distracted enjoying the sunshine. They did a nice job on my Clio following a previous indiscretion.

Bodyworks Camberley A30 behind MacDonalds just did my Audi alloys.
Very impressed with the service and attitude.

Thanks for all the recommendations. Am going to ring round this week and when I get some time, I'll drop in to a couple and see what they quote me.

Did some further looking at the paint on Sunday and in my opinion, it doesn't look like its gone through to metal, but then I'm no expert. I'm just hoping that it'll be a detail job, rather than a respray as I really can't afford two panel resprays right now.

Can also recommend Little Knocks in Wokingham - they did an absolutely fantastic job on my mothers car when some muppet managed to leave deep scrapes all down a door with what can only assume was a trolley. Very good price considering the damage done. Funnily enough she only went there after I'd seen them recommended in the SAS Directory!

Think it'll definitely be there then. That's a fair few people that have recommended them. Will try and pop down and see them at some point in the week.
