Admittedly I don't have a GTR but I've had no issues with them on my ST220 and my boss used to use them for his M6.
The guys (never been the same guy) who've done my car have always talked you through things beforehand to point out any damage to wheels, etc.. and they have always taken great care in making sure nothing gets damaged.

If you've purchased the tyres then just get your local Nissan HPC to quote - I pay 1.5 hours HPC labour for fitting my own supplied tyres and if anything goes wrong they fix it or repair it, instantly and without fuss. Last set, broke 2 undertray bolts and the new ones were on the car before they'd even told me!
I've heard all the horror stories from 3rd party fitters so I buy the tyres cheap but always get an HPC to fit them - probably costs an extra £100'ish, but I'm not going to run the risk.

Tales of woe from GTR forum:
- broken pressure sensor - guy was told to visit Nissan to reset it, but they'd broken it.
- cracked pressure valve - kept losing pressure.
- many many many scratched alloys - the paint is very thin... and very expensive!
- cracked G-flange on the wheel - cost over £1,000 for a new wheel when it was discovered!

Just trawl the GTROC forum and see what comes up. There's a specific wheels/tyres section and loads of fitters mentioned...
Well it would have been 1k to fit the tyres if it were Italian !
Trans Oil - it is what it is and has been done !
Brakes/ pads / discs - no issues done the research and know what it costs.
At which HPC did you have your tyres fitted ? Is your car under warranty ? or has it been modded ?
Cheers

John what HPC did you use to fit them? Slough and Mill Hill is part of WLMG. Did you use Oxford HPC?
Oxford quoted (2 hrs labour from memory), but I used Middlehurst in the end as I sent the car up there for a new front splitter and service anyway.ETA: mine's a UK car under warranty and it's not modded (yet...
