Nice, but would a noble be a bigger jump up in performance bang?

Probably, but my Elise was faultless and you could drive it hard all day - the Nobles I have seen are A) Fugly and B) Broken down at Loomies or on the side of the road on some run. I have a huge amount of respect for the Noble as a performance car, but I can't afford to maintain one the way it should / would demand to be maintained smile

Very true, your only problem is that you have too much choice! Enjoy the search. Maybe an S1 exige, seem to be a future classic and investment, maybe your looking at keeping Toyota engine power though?

I have ALWAYS wanted one of these, my realistic dream car!!! i even have the newspaper articles from when it first came out!!!!!

I know you need to serviced every other journey, i know they are expensive to run, but after taking one for a test drive you just dont care!!!!!

What am I missing here? It has the same engine but weighs more so will be slower, its just a coupe version of your R (essentially) so looks very similar too? If you mean 'phwaor' in terms of style why have a dark coloured one?

Holyfeckdingo, didn't realise CSLs were in the realms of affordability! Damn, I had my heart set on an Exige but this may require more agony smile

The Atom is nice I need to be able to drive this gingerly in poor weather if wifey takes the derv BMW

The EVO is just not my style.

Frimley, my seat-o-da-pants dyno tells me that the Exige is faster pretty much everywhere vs. my Elise R, the SC makes a big difference. Also, with the new ability to up the power to factory 260 for quite reasonable money, I didn't think that aftermarket was worth the risk (when do you get yours back BTW? would love a ride smile ). You are right about colour though, I have been looking longingly at the Yellow one at B&C, I love the look of it but am scared that it will get tiring after a while. Wife has banned me from upgrading my sportscar every 10 months, so this has to last... at least a year or 2 frown

Anybody tried the Z4M Coupe vs. an Exige S?

Did you enjoy the Chim? How about a supercharged one? 425 bhp with 400+ torques. I gather some of them are very reliable smile

laugh with the right geometry and suspension setup, they can handle like they are on rails, so I believe smile
