Nice restaurant for Saturday night?

Morning All,
Saturday is my wife's 40th. Originally we were going to be going out for dinner in town with some of the family, but that has fallen through, so I'm looking for somewhere nice to take her. Criteria are:
1. Around £40-50 per head plus drinks. I want something nice, but not Fat Duck type prices.
2. Within a reasonable distance from Epsom. Probably don't want the hassle of a train into London, so ideally somewhere simple to drive to - I had in mind a roughly triangular area with Epsom, Camberley and Crawley at the corners, so anywhere Guildford, Dorking, Chobham, Cobham, Sunningdale etc...
3. Not Chinese, but other than that, no real limitations on cuisine.
That's about it, really! Any suggestions?

A bit out of the way but Crazy Bear in Beaconsfield is fantastic and great for something a little more 'special'! Fits the price range too!

3 courses was around £100 including her wine for the 2 of us.
Food was well presented and nicely cooked. We've only been the once, so I can't say if that standard (perhaps one of the locals can comment?) is the norm, but we'd definately go back.

It took me 45 mins from Fleet (North Hampshire) via M3/M25/M40 when the traffic was clear. It'd probably be more like 35 mins from Epsom!?!Well worth the jaunt!
You could also try 'The Aviator' in Farnborough (Hotel on the Airfield).The food is fantastic, service can be a little slow at busy times but if your after a relaxed meal with good food and not in a rush, it's well worth a visit and pretty plush.. Have a drink in the Sky Bar first!

Google Maps reckons 48 minutes each way. Yes, I know I'd do it faster than that, but with a friend babysitting as a favour, I'd rather minimise travel time! Kermit power said:
