Smart repairs - surrey

Cleaned my car at the weekend and discovered that someone has dragged something over the roof of my car and taken some of the paint off...

This, coupled with the fact some other git scraped the off-side wing just before Christmas makes me think I should get it patched up.

Does anyone have any good experiences with a Smart Repairer (Chips Away type stuff) around Epsom in Surrey?

It is exceptionally rare for a roof repair to be suitable for an uncontrolled environment repair. Unless the damage is situated where the repair work can be very restricted, roof paintwork usually involves at least clearcoating the whole roof. Any paintwork on a panel in a horizontal position also picks up vastly more contamination - so this sort of work almost always requires a spraybooth.

There are occasional exceptions, so it won't hurt to get some assessments and quotes - fingers crossed for you :-)

Ah - thanks Anatol - that's interesting to know.

Maybe I'll drop in to a couple of body shops instead!
