Hello Simbu, does he/she work at Dick Lovett Hungerford? If so I probably have spoken to them.
Abingdon sounds good, have never done a track day before. M6 may be a little heavy for it though? Mind you would be a good way to send off the rear tyres. Wonder whether I could 'borrow' something a little more lithe......

No it'd be fine, it's all about the fun factor I've seen Pics of old Volvo estates and an Sclass on track at Cadwell park 
Abingdons quite open so would be good in a big powerful car.
Also be a good chance to meet a few of the usual suspects

P.s Abingdon is an airfield so would be best for a first trackday as there is nothing solid to hit if you do get it wrong
