Alarm recommendation / Mobile Fitters

Couple of things please.
What do people rate as alarms these days? I used to have a Clifford 300 years ago, but notice there is now the G470, V5.5 or a G650. Is Clifford still what it cracked up to be, or is Toad Ai606 any better?
Secondly, I need someone to come to my home to install the alarm, as the car doesn't have insurance, due to the insurance company wanting an alarm being fitted to the car. So need someone who is fairly able and not like to bodge the installation up.
