I say Heating engineer as i've already had my usual plumber round and he has mis-diagnosed it.
I need someone tomorrow though (wednesday) as the flat is rented to an older couple and she has just come out of hospital to find the Heating is off.
I've been round there all night myself changing a pump which he told me needed doing but it didn't !!

Anyway, if anyone knows someone decent who won't rip me off.
Cheers

Can't help with a plumber, sorry, but try sticking the make, model and fault on homes and diy. The usual guys should be able to help.

Cheers Rick will try them.

I really need someone else to do this rather than mess with it myself.
They are old and moany and fed up with me doing it....they didn't say it but implied it by saying will you get a plumber to do it next time rather than do it yourself ...grrr
I was there late last night, no food or drink and tired and acting on my usual plumbers instructions as he had only had time to quickly diagnose it. Then when it still didn't work, i'm getting grief.
One comment when i appologised that i couldn't actually get them heating that night but they had an immersion so should have hot water..."oh but that will cost us more money to run" ,at gone 10 at night and hungry, i did well not to be my usual sarcastic self, trying to remember they are old.
This morning i had another moany call saying they were not happy as the immersion obviously didn't work as they still have no hot water either....ah well, saved them some money on the running costs i suppose.
Didn't even know i had an immersion after 10 years of owning it...those Megaflow systems are something else, when they work frown

Dean has a good guy who overhauled our system and put in new boiler, cantankerous old git but very good and old school. Think he is Farnborough so very local, don't seem to have his number to hand but drop Dean a line if Rick's lots can't get out quick enough.
