Morning all,

I need to get some Brake Discs skimmed pretty urgently, i.e. Today!

Does anybody know of a decent garage that could fit me in today in either the Thames Valley region or West London?

Any advice will be appreciated!

For the S2. smile

Ideally I need to get them done in situ or I'll save myself the hassle and buy some new discs and get them machined down.

I called Jez and left a message but he's obviously a busy chap. smile

In the end I decided to buy myself some over-sized discs which are currently being machined down to the correct size.

Got there in the end. thumbup

We never bother, remember discs have a minimum thickness.GSF or Euro car parts will supply O/E BMW discs at very competitive prices.

There is a lot of meat left on the discs but the surface is not straight and true. GSF are very competitive and it's far cheaper for me to buy A8 discs and have them turned down by 10mm than buy the porsche rotors/discs.
