Yep, these are great have one in the S2 permanently now and actually helps stop backache on longer journeys too.

How do they work then? Does It clip to the seatbelt near the buckle to stop the seatbelt slacking off as you press on it?

It clips onto the buckle, and with the cross belt running over it, by locking it off the lap part of the belt becomes locked off through the belt tounge. So you still have the inertia reel to move forward and back, but your lap portion is non sliding and holds you tight into the seat. Good simple bit of kit.
