Hi,

The TVR needs an MOT, can anyone recommend a 'friendly' MOT place in or near Reading?

Thanks,

J.

I regularly use Fenn Motor Works - (Opposite the Aston Garage).
They're a Jag specialist mainly, but they've always been good to me.

He's tested all of my cars for the past few years - smart/Landy/Shogun/Ferrari

Thames Valley MOTs: 0118 956 0044.

Very nice chaps, very honest and they do a good job! I use them for all my maintenance work now.

I recently used the guys at http://www.wokinghammot.com/ on a recommendation from another PHer.

Nice people to deal with, and certainly willing to "help" the car through the test within reason!

Great, Thanks all. Fenns Are right by my work, so they get my first vote and Thames Valley are backup :-)

cheers,

Used these many times before and would happily recommend them.

She Passed with flying colours and the Fenn chaps were very helpful and friendly indeed, they even parked her in their special spot so she didn't get scratched or damaged smile

Bit late now but I use T&M Motors in Arkwright Road. They are next door but I use them for MOTs on my M5 and small jobs. The owner also owns a nice Griffith smile
