Urgent restaurant help please!!!

Hi All,

In a bit of a tizz, as, as usual! I've left everything rather last min!

We have two very good friends joining us for Easter day and we need a restaurant nearby (Windlesham).

In the past we've been to Waterside, the Wharf etc but this time they are heading our way and pizza express just isn't going to cut it! it's not about expense it's just a case of life's too short not to get it right! (and yes I'm the idiot asking this the day before)!!!!

Any suggestions?

I've thought of Bluebells but haven't really heard if it's good???

The place that used to be Ciao 90 on Ascot High St? Heard some good things about it. If not then the old favourites, Thatch Tavern/Cottage Inn etc

I've just tried Greatfosters as that's an old fav but fully booked.

I'm keen on the Brickies but Mr 13th got paniced and booked us in to Bluebells!

Please anyone is this a good option????

We're keeping The Bee as a Monday lunch option

I'm sticking with Bluebells!

Now........... I've only got to clean the house, go to a first birthday party way up the M1, meet my old boss for evening drinks back in Chertsey and suduction (she's female and the suduction is to get me to go back to "proper" work) but I love where I am......

Will let you know how Bluebells goes BUT I'm really keen on The Bee for Monday if our friends last the course!!!!

Its soon to change hands, three owners and all the problems that are associated with three owners that dont care about running a business anymore. they have had two highly experianced head chefs leave in the last 12 months. one went back to london the other has gone to the aviator in farmbourgh (which is another place you could try).

now i'm not slating the place after all i used to be the manager there.

Tylneys very old fashioned in a way. Silver service, carving trolley & closhes on all their main plates. It is a 2 rosett restaurant but different to most others.
