hi, i was wondering if any1 could help, i have a 2000 escort finesse ive noticed the accelerator cable runs over the top of the engine , recently its started to melt is there any way of preventing this from happening
Sounds quite worrying. I would make sure the engine/chassis bonding strap is in good condition, sounds like it is drawing current through the throttle cable.
