Common sense and normailty are calling and I'm thinking of getting an S-Max.
I'm contemplating a 2.5T titanium - has anyone got one who can offer some words of advice?
I've had 11 years of diesels, and if I'm going to drive an MPV I want something a bit different...
Anyone know what mpg and servicing etc the 2.5 gives/needs?

Just bought one if these on a 57 plate. Seeing about 28-30 on very mixed runs. Mine was ex company so High miles but full service history. Drives very well. Quite pokey ( although we got rid of a t5 and a vxr8).

Lots of space. Look round though as I managed to get one with the 18 inch wheels and some silver detailing and bits makes it look a little nicer than the average. Also has half leather and sports seats.

So far so good. Although not serviced it yet.

Thanks Mr_annie_vxr - I appreciate the advice. I'm only looking at Titaniums that ideally have the X pack, but they're quite rare..!

Mileage is better than I thought it would be, I was a bit worried about the MPG as I've had diesel rep-mobiles for the last 11 years, and the only way I agreed to get an MPV is if I get something with a bit of poke.

Right then, I'll start looking!

Take it for a spin I guess, If you don't want a diesel then fair enough but I know Focus ST's are known for fairly 'poor' fuel economy but it depends how may mpg's you are used to, what noise you want and how many miles you do!

The newer ones have a fancy bodykit and all sorts which make them quite bling/posh for a ford bus!

We get 26 or 27 mpg.
More on a run - in fact she returns pretty good mpg on a motorway run even at high average speeds.
Accelerates and handles like an MPV has no right to.
