What can anyone tell me about the Fiesta ST?

My current car is killing me in running costs, so I was looking for smaller, nippier alternatives. The Fiesta ST caught my eye, can anyone tell me what they're like to live with on a daily basis? Good value for money? Any and all words of wisdom appreciated. Cheers!

Poor MPG for the performance. I had one for a week and round the doors it was getting 23 to 24mpg. A Clio sport would get that and they are quicker, better handling etc.. PS I'm a ford fan too!
