Hi anyone here have any experience with a MK3 1.8 Mondeo !
Have changed TPS, IACV and cleaned the throtle body till like new, but still have a reving problem, the car will run up to 3rpm on its own for about 3 seconds then setle, and when reved the revs take 1-2 seconds before dropping away after lifting off. I have checked the throtle cable linkage and its not binding in anyway along with cruise control linkage also ok.
Where to next I'm stumped? Ive booked in for a main dealer to have alook but that will not be till next Friday.
Any ideas at all would be really helpful
P.

Vacuum pipe leak might be worth checking.

Would I need to remove the manifold to see/get to this?
