Apologies for the dull question, but...

I seem to have broken the lens on one of my fog lamps, so I'm off to eBay in a minute. The question is, are all mk1 Focus fog lights the same or do I have to find one for my exact model (a '51 plate 1.6 Silver)?

All the ones I've seen from the very first one up to when the mk2 was introduced all look the same to me. wink

51 plate is the change-over year, when the MK1.5 came out. The foglights of the Mk1 and 1.5 are very different, so it's easy to tell if you've got the wrong ones.

Otherwise, all Mk1.5's are the same, with the exception of the ST170 and RS foglights.

Edit: I presume we're talking about front foglights? All rear foglights are the same from all versions.

Sorry, it's the fronts.

I presume the different styles are quite distinct - if I Google a 1999 Focus and a 2003 one, for example, I'll see the mk1 and the mk1.5 to work out which I have?

Yes they're different shapes, you can't get them mixed up.
