Hi Guys, i'm after a little help.

My partner has a 1.4 Ford Ka of 2003 vintage and it's boiling hot....

Inside the cabin, it's getting hot even when the temp control is set to cold, not just the air coming from the vents but the central section on the dash is getting very hot to the touch. Under the bonnet, all feels cool and the temp warning light isn't coming on but something isn't right.

There is no smell of burning and it's just getting blooming hot!

Is there anything that I can check, or has anybody had something similar?

Cheers

sounds like the heater control valve is stuck frown

common on the Ka, Fiesta and Puma to go. are the coolant pipes from the engine to the bulkhead both hot?

I had this problem on my daughter's and my Ka. Rather than the controller valve, it has been the heater panel in the cars that gave the problem, so check the controller valve before you replace it. I've replaced 4 panels on the two cars in the past 3 1/2 years.
