I have a Ford Ranger mk2 (2004). There is a common fault with these trucks that the glass covering the front fog lights falls out and the internal light corrodes from the weather rendering it useless.

The glass cannot be purchased on its own and new lights cost £80 each! I have just lost the second glass and both lights have corroded frown.

I am contemplating writing a formal complaint to Ford and seeing if they will send me two new lights. I doubt I have any legal grounds to stand on seeing as the truck is now 7 years old and I did not purchase it new, but is there anything I can put in the letter to blackmail, I mean, convince them to send me replacement lights smile?

What's the best address to send Ford a letter of complaint?

Seriously? I wouldn't bother. Mnndeo's (ST220's/TDci's)all(later cars) have drooping/cracking bumpers, they didn't give two sts about that either!(probably because the fault was caused by deleting parts to save £££!!!).
