Fiesta RS 1800 How Many Built ?

Anyone know much about them ? What were the Colour options ? many survive ?
When they were new I was too busy hooning around I'n 5 Turbos to notice them. Dont think they were common in the esrly 90s And I can't remember when I last saw one .
I stumbled upon one today , looks very original , but rear arches need some work. Sure this was a weakness on this model of Fiesta .
Any info much appreciated .

Had a look myself at its Wiki page.
Couldn't find how many built but i believe it was only about 500 due to
the insurance premiums in early 90s.
Ask at the Ford RS owners club website if need be.
As for how many left,probably down to 2 figures at a guess and don't bother with the "how many left" website ,figures incorrect for other makes for certain.
